Handsome Connor Mead (Matthew McConaughey) is a famous photographer with a successful career and a steady stream of sexual encounters. He is a free spirit who travels among beautiful women, but never makes any promises. He never makes any promises, and when the mood strikes him, he "waves his sleeve without taking away a single cloud". He was so elegant that he was happy in it. Unlike his playful brother, Connor's younger brother, Paul (Breckin Meyer), is about to enter into marriage. Connor is primed to travel to the wedding, but of course for him it may be the start of another (or several?) The beginning of a fling. However, things take a turn for the unexpected when he first meets his long-dead uncle (Michael Douglas) in the restroom, and then encounters the ghosts of three of his ex-girlfriends.
