Chris (Emile Hirsch), a 22-year-old drug dealer, is in debt and the loan sharks are threatening to come after him. The only way he can save his life is to murder his own mother, Adele, in order to earn a hefty insurance policy and join forces with his father, stepmother and sister, Dottie (Juno Temple), to split the fortune. Unwilling to take matters into his own hands, Chris sets his sights on Joe (Matthew McConaughey), a professional hit man who is all business and no charity and won't do anything if he can't raise enough money. At his wit's end, Chris has to give Joe a temporary "deposit" for his sister. Chris thought everything was done and was just waiting to receive the money, but he didn't expect things to go in a dramatic direction. ......
